Don’t Stop Dreaming

Sometimes I find myself setting aside my hopes and dreams for what society says I “should” be doing. Yet the more I try to force my control over the American Dream, the more I realize I have little control at all.

These goals and dreams mean little until I take action but I’ve realized that serious intention of taking action, like saving for a vacation or a home, are all still action. Although I haven’t quite made the leap, it’s getting me one step closer.

While I’ve taken the action and am ready, I can’t fully control external aspects of the world. I just have to be patient and wait until the right moment presents itself.

What I’m trying to say is to never stop dreaming or achieving your dreams because things aren’t aligning up as you plan. Also don’t make rushed decisions because you can’t wait.

I want to enjoy at least a little bit of happiness every day. Even if it’s for 5 minutes. Of course, enjoying yourself more is better but sometimes you have to work with what you’ve got.

We never know how long we have and living a life of regret is not a life at all. I don’t want to die with regrets. Do you? What are you doing today that takes you one step closer to your dreams?
