I’m curious, how many of you handwrite your novels?
I handwrote a half finished draft when I was in high school and enjoyed it. However, I didn’t do it again until now because I thought it’d be more efficient typing, which is true. But I realized my flow was better when I wasn’t distracted by social media or other things on my computer.
How do you count your words when handwriting? This is how I determined my average word count, however, I realized it’s not fool-proof and I’m being conservative with my numbers but it’s a start for me and hopefully it’ll help you too if you decide to handwrite your novels!
Remember the numbers are determined by the notebook size, line width, and your handwriting so my numbers will likely be different from yours.
