Day’s Reflection
Half way through the challenge! Yay!
Today I started at 8 am, or at least I tried to and then wanted to walk since I haven’t been good at exercising or moving my body as much. I did about an hour then I realized I had to go grocery shopping. I thought it would be a quick trip to a few stores but it ended up taking me 3 hours….
That threw off my whole schedule. It was hard to be out shopping when all I wanted to focus on was my WIP but those errands needed to be done. Then my family called, my sister and brother-in-law was coming in town and wanted to meet up with my other siblings….
With Covid-19 still running around. I didn’t really want to take my chances. Plus I had this #7DayRevisionChallenge planned out. Turns out I could probably meet with them on Saturday since the challenge technically ends on Friday but I think I rather continue the revisions or do something else like relax and read safe and in my house instead. lol
Because of the interruptions I’ve rarely posted on Instagram. Still getting used to posting on there. Twitter seems more convenient for me but I’m still using Instagram just for fun.
Despite the interruptions, I managed to get 4.25 hours done today! I’d like to do more but it’s almost 9 pm as I’m typing this and I still need to shower and relax before bed.
I did have to merge 2 chapters because there wasn’t enough substance in them. This is good but it’ll throw my chapter count off from now on. lol Ah well, I always had less than 30 chapters so with the extra time I’ll need to go back to work on the incomplete chapters.
Today’s chapters were mostly re-outlining what I have for my outline or writing new material. I spent more time doing the former. I have to say that writing the new material was more fun once the ideas began to flow. These chapters are juicer and I hope that they are as fun to read as they are to write. The climax of the story is approaching and it’s likely they will be in similar states as today’s chapters.
