This round came with:
So I’m going to start with the Premium Pen. I’ve actually won one from a giveaway awhile ago. I do like the pen and the ink. It’s extremely classy and the ink comes out easily. It writes with a nice fine black clean line and it doesn’t bleed or feather on the paper I used.
Shiny stainless steel that I don’t think has any issues with leaving finger prints. The top connects to the body with a nice firm click so you know it’s attached and stays attached. The clip is nice but I don’t really use it but it’s very nice to have.
The top lid is postable to the body which I like so there’s less likely of a chance for me to lose my lid. lol
It’s sort of a felt-like tip. The grip is a little rubbery and doesn’t have too much flex when you squeeze it but it makes sure you don’t loose your grip.
Refillable! Awesome!
This is where I had a bit of a problem. This is my pen that I won in a giveaway and had already gone through some extensive use. The tip sort of flattened due to my grip or heavy use of pressure on the pen.
Also it did dry out after awhile so the pen needed more encouragement to write to the point where I stopped using it because I needed a new refill. I guess I did like the pen more than I thought I would. I did end up giving my other pen to my brother who was very pleased with it. He liked how classy and elegant it looked and I knew it would go to a good home. lol
So another little issue I had was that the pen ink was to be water and smear resistant. I guess it appears that way but for me I need more resistance than that. It could have been the paper I used but I don’t know. Also I just put a water droplet on my finger tip and ran it across the ink. It’s still legible though so that’s good.
I amend my statement in the picture. It IS SMEAR RESISTANT but I’m not fond of that smear even though I’m right handed.
It’s main purpose appears to decorate items. It claims to be fluorescent under black light but as I lack the resources I’ll have to take them for their word.
The colors are bright and vivid. Sorry my photos don’t do them justice. Imagine as if the colors were highlighter colors and that’s more accurate. The colors look more faded in my photos than they actually are so please disregard that. The second picture below is the most accurate of the colors but they are still a hair brighter than that.
Also I’m such a doof. For some reason I thought the neon markers would show up on the black paper that was provided too. lol It doesn’t. It’s not legible anyways. You can see the ink reflection in the third picture below.
Lining up the colors with their respective pen.
Last but not least Metallic Permanent Marker are gorgeous colors. I’ve used the silver marker before and have always been a fan. I was excited to try the gold which happened to be just as wonderful. The colors are more opaque than their neon counterparts. Not to mention more shiny. I like shiny.
They laid down nice clean lines with consistent ink flow which is great. It also proved to be water and smear proof as claimed.
True to color! I’m not sure I would have been able to figure out how to not make them look streaky. I guess I wasn’t supposed to use them in solid colors. lol Probably more with doodling hearts or flowers or something. lol
Shiny!
