What inspired my current project:<\/span> I read a story on<\/span> tumblr and read comments that said someone should write a story based off that topic. The suggestions and my desire to expand on it inspired my own version. It’s paranormal (not sci-fi as I originally stated). <\/span><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

    I looked around at the three, \u201cDo you guys want to come?\u201d<\/p>\n

    Zadie gave me an apologetic look, \u201cI\u2019m busy doing something. I\u2019m not sure if bombarding him with unfamiliar faces is a good idea right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Chase shook her head, \u201cI already have some plans with Victoria. Can we get a rain check?\u201d<\/p>\n

    \u201cOf course,\u201d I turned to Dylan, \u201cHow about you?\u201d<\/p>\n

    Dylan half shrugged, \u201cLet me check my calendar.\u201d After a pause he nodded and grinned, \u201cI\u2019m free.\u201d<\/p>\n

    My lips twisted in false annoyance then remembered our current state of dress in pajamas, \u201cThen get ready in five minutes.\u201d<\/p>\n

    Dylan took off yelling behind him, \u201cYou\u2019re such a slave driver.\u201d<\/p>\n

    \u201cYou haven\u2019t seen nothing yet boy!\u201d I called after him.<\/p>\n

    Chase and Zadie picked at the leftover bacon. I slid off the stool, \u201cYou know you two can stay as long as you want. Just make sure to clean up and lock up after you\u2019re done.\u201d<\/p>\n

    They shared a look and nodded. Zadie shot me a winning smile, \u201cDon\u2019t worry. We\u2019ll take care of everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

    I smiled as I glided up the stairs. Those two were up to something but I didn\u2019t have the time to figure it out yet.<\/p>\n
