\nSo
\n I\u2019m back from Ohayocon and it was really good overall! Even saw a few
\nfriends that I haven\u2019t seen in awhile, since my last Ohayocon which I
\nthink was in 2009. Wow, it\u2019s been 3 years since I\u2019ve last seen some
\npeople! It was good to be back though. I\u2019m going to keep this brief
\nsince it wasn\u2019t exceptionally eventful for me but I had fun socializing
\nwith friends. I wonder if it\u2019s because I\u2019m getting older and the fact
\nthat I haven\u2019t kept up with any popular Anime or Manga lately that it
\nwasn\u2019t as riveting.<\/span><\/p>\n

Friday <\/b>– So I got
\n there early around 2:30pm and it was kinda empty but there were people
\nrunning around. It was weird, the pre-reg line at the time was longer
\nthan the at-the-door line, the staff member said it was a weird time of
\nday for that to happen. Anyways, got my badge and ended up wandering
\naround. Somehow I managed to find the Dealer\u2019s room and got a little
\nlost there trying to find the Artist Alley. Mind you, they changed the
\nlayout from 3 years ago but it is the same as it was last year to those
\nwho have been to Ohayocon more recently. Bought a few things from
\nfriends in the AA. I met up with friends and we followed each other
\naround the Dealer\u2019s Room, AA, and panels. It was good times. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n

\nSaturday <\/b>–
\n Much more eventful, there were mass amounts of people that day. I was
\nalso super busy that I wasn\u2019t able to hit the AA more than once or twice
\n that day. XD Ended up wandering the Dealer\u2019s room and panels the most. I
\n would have been completely bored without my friends. I came by myself
\nsince I didn\u2019t come with anyone in particular. When I first arrived I
\nended up wandering the Dealer\u2019s room but it was so crowded that I left
\nand I was hungry so I went to eat a snack.<\/p>\n

Was still
\ntrying to wake up so I went to sit down and sketch until my butt was
\nnumb from sitting on the floor. lol I decided to go to the Dealer\u2019s room
\n again because I wanted to look more seriously at things to buy. It was
\nfunny because I didn\u2019t expect to run into some friends so quickly after I
\n went into the Dealer\u2019s room. It was difficult to try to dodge people,
\ntook forever sometimes to cross through. I didn\u2019t buy anything at the
\nDealer\u2019s room, ended up spending most of my money at the AA! Woot! lol
\nThe AA was actually pretty busy too. The day was long but fun, went to a
\n few panels but hardly stayed the whole time for most of them. I think I
\n only stayed for one panel the whole time. XD<\/p>\n

Oh man,
\nthe lines for the Food Court were so long for lunch! I don\u2019t remember it
\n being that long 3 years ago. lol I\u2019d recommend bringing your own food
\nif you don\u2019t like waiting in lines. Even around 5 or 6pm when I went to
\neat there were still lines. XD Shorter lines but still a line where I
\nhad to wait around 15 minutes for Subway. Not sure if there ever was a
\nmoment when there wasn\u2019t a line. There were shorter lines than others
\nbut it also depended on where you went to eat.<\/p>\n

\nNot sure if you can tell it’s busier than Friday. This was probably more
\n during one of the down times where it was less crowded. lol<\/p>\n

Sunday <\/b>–
\n Was sad that it was nearing the end already. Went to talk to some of my
\n artist friends in the AA since I didn\u2019t really get a chance on
\nSaturday. Strolled both the AA and Dealer\u2019s room for any deals but there
\n weren\u2019t that many so I held on to my money. Tried to limit my budget
\nbut was able to pre-reg for the next Ohayocon. Was looking around to
\npre-reg for Matsuricon on Sunday but never ran into the guys running the
\n booth. I ended up just pre-regging online.<\/p>\n

This day
\nwas more of a last chance to hang out and talk with for some friends.
\nSome older friends I didn\u2019t even see until Sunday afternoon since I
\ndidn\u2019t know they were there. lol A lot of people left early on Sunday
\nbecause of work and what not. Was a bit of a relief with more space and
\nair circulating, although you could still get whiffs of some con funk
\nand B.O. floating around in which I just hold my breath until it passes.
\n All in all, it was good to see old friends and make new ones. Was sad
\nto see everyone go but to see friends is one of the reasons for me to
\nattend a con. Definitely going back next year and maybe next time I\u2019ll
\nget a table! Hopefully by then I\u2019ll have more art and merchandise. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
